Azad Amanat
Azad is a second-year Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) student from Los Angeles, California concentrating in Global Politics and Security. He is interested in the nexus of human rights and security, especially in freedom of religion or belief and religious extremism. Azad holds an undergraduate degree from Yale University where he studied history, with a focus on the Middle East.
I am eager to advance a career of public service by studying with some of the most preeminent academics and practitioners in the field of international relations here in the MSFS program, and to learn from a remarkable, diverse cadre of classmates committed to solving some of the most difficult challenges in foreign affairs.”
