Ayelet Zamek
Ayelet is an MSFS candidate concentrating in Science, Technology, and International Affairs. She graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. in International Relations and minors in Russian and Eurasian Studies and Geographic Information Science. Ayelet is interested in the relationship between the environment, particularly water, and security. She speaks Hebrew.
The daughter of two rabbis, Ayelet was raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Hong Kong. Her 'third-culture' upbringing catalyzed her interest in international affairs. Prior to joining the MSFS program, Ayelet served as a CivicSpark AmeriCorps Fellow in San Luis Obispo, California, and taught at Hong Kong Metropolitan University.
"I chose MSFS because I think the high expectations set for students to develop expertise, attain language proficiency, and complete an internationally oriented internship will best prepare me to contribute to my field and advance my career in public service."
