Audrey Easterwood Douglas
Audrey Easterwood Douglas, a Michigan native, is a MSFS candidate in the Global Politics and Security concentration at the Walsh School of Foreign Service. Her studies center on transatlantic trade and relations, the intersection of the public and private sector, and the green transition. Audrey is currently working at the Embassy of Denmark as a Junior Advisor in the Trade Department, where she advances green energy projects and supports US-Danish economic and business ties.
Prior to joining MSFS, Audrey spent 3 years abroad. She worked in Australia and New Zealand, followed by a long-term backpacking trip throughout Southeast Asia. Her time abroad sparked her interest in pursuing an international affairs career. After returning to the US, Audrey spent 5 years in the private sector in Austin and Detroit, where she managed client partnerships and international teams. Most recently, she worked in the electric vehicle space, enabling companies and public entities to transition their fleet vehicles to EVs and gain access to charging infrastructure.
Audrey completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, earning degrees in French and in Organizational Studies with a specialization in International Business. She spent a semester abroad in Paris, studying French and International Business. Audrey has also supported refugees and asylee communities through volunteer work with various organizations in Austin and Detroit.
