Alexander Mederos
Alexander Mederos concentrates in international development with a focus in democracy and governance. He is an Institute for the Study of Diplomacy Ambassador David Newsom research fellow. His research profiles the determinants of U.S. bilateral aid between 2010-2019 and proposes recommendations to improve U.S. foreign assistance and cooperation with other international partners. Alongside his graduate coursework, Alexander works at the Millennium Challenge Corporation as a graduate intern. Prior to Georgetown, Alexander served in the Peace Corps in Botswana. He received a B.A. in political science from Franklin and Marshall College.
