Ja’net DeFlorimonte, Director of Admissions is responsible for all matters pertaining to recruitment, admissions, scholarship, and advertising. She meets with prospective students, counsels applicants, and works with the Admissions Committee in making admissions decisions. Ja’net also designs and implements the annual outreach strategy, which includes domestic and international recruitment through travel, advertising, marketing, and special events. In addition, she works closely with the Graduate School in the management of applications and awarding of merit-based scholarships.
Before joining MSFS, Ja’net was the Administrative Director for the North American Office of the Medical School for International Health at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where she oversaw admissions, recruitment, fourth year clinical elective partnerships, and public relations. Prior to that, she worked with National Medical Fellowships, Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, and the Institute of International Education.
Ja’net earned her M.P.A. with a concentration in International Management from American University and her B.A. in Political Science with a minor in International Studies from Wake Forest University.
