2009

The enrolling class of 2009 includes: military officers, journalists, teachers, business professionals, 2 Pickering Graduate Foreign Affairs Fellows, 2 students with JET experience, 4 Fulbrights, 13 returned Peace Corps volunteers, 8 Phi Beta Kappa awardees, 3 AmeriCorps volunteers, and 1 IIPP Fellow.

Students self-reported the following information: the class averages 3.5 years of prior work experience, the average age is 26.5 (age range 22 – 37), 41% of the students are international, and 25% of U.S. students represent a U.S. minority. Students claiming dual citizenship with the U.S. and another country are counted as U.S citizens in these statistics. This year’s international students come from 24 countries.


2008

The enrolling class of 2008 includes:  foreign government officials, military officers, journalists, teachers, business professionals, 3 Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellows, one McNair Scholar, one student who applied through Project 1000, 2 Rangel Scholars, 2 students with JET experience, 4 Fulbrights, 13 returned Peace Corps volunteers, 8 Phi Beta Kappa awardees, 3 AmeriCorps volunteers, and 2 Truman Scholars. 

Students self-reported the following information: the class averages 4 years of prior work experience, the average age is 27 (age range 21 – 37), 36% of the students are international, and 25% of U.S. students represent a U.S. minority.  Students claiming dual citizenship with the U.S. and another country are counted as U.S citizens in these statistics.  This year’s international students come from 26 countries.
