Trips, Panels, and Receptions

The MSFS Program organizes trips, panel discussions, conferences and receptions to introduce students to successful practioners and potential employers in the field of international affairs.

Washington, DC Day Trip

Each fall, first-year MSFS students take part in the Washington, DC Day Trip, during which they meet with MSFS alumni working in government agencies, international organizations and the non-profit sector. During panel discussions and over lunch, students learn about careers in Washington and receive advice from successful members of these institutions. New York City Career Trip

During the spring semester, the MSFS Program sponsors a career trip to New York City to introduce first-year students to MSFS alumni working in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. During this two-day trip, students attend panels on careers in business, consulting, banking, the United Nations and its agencies and meet with alumni at lunches, site visits, and at the annual New York City MSFS Alumni Reception.
