Career Development Center

The School of Foreign Service Graduate Career Development Center provides career counseling and assistance to MSFS students. Working exclusively with graduate students in the School of Foreign Service, the director and associate director of the Career Center:

  • offer skills workshops focusing on resume and cover letter writing, interview techniques, job searches, and negotiating methods

  • provide individual counseling for each MSFS student during the first and second years to guide him or her through a systematic job search;

  • make available information on interships and assistantships that provide temporary and may lead to permanent employment;

  • promote the MSFS program and degree to employers in the public, private and non-profit sectors.
