Careers in International Affairs

The Georgetown University School of Foreign Service publishes the award-winning guidebook Careers in International Affairs. Edited by MSFS program counselor, Maria Pinto Carland and MSFS student, Candace Faber '07, and now in its 8th edition, Careers in International Affairs is widely viewed as the leading guide to employment in the fields most important to MSFS graduates. Each chapter is introduced by a member of the MSFS alumni, faculty or Advisory Board and provides useful information on careers in government, international  organizations, business, consulting, media, research and the non-profit sector. Former Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright, says of Careers, "It is respected by those who teach, those who employ and those who want jobs...a trifecta." It was chosen by Joyce Lain Kennedy as the best guidebook for careers in international affairs in 2004.
