Visiting MSFS

Prospective applicants are welcome to visit the school, attend information sessions, sit in on classes (arranged by the MSFS Admissions Office), and meet with current students. While we cannot accommodate drop-in visitors, there are various ways to arrange a visit to campus:

Information Sessions

During the months of January - March 2012, information sessions will be offered on Fridays at 2:00 pm - except holidays. After March 2012, information sessions will be offered on Mondays at 4:00 pm and Fridays at 2:00 pm - except holidays.  The session (capped at five attendees) includes a brief presentation by an admissions representative and provides prospective students with an opportunity to ask any relevant questions about the program that they might have. Prospective students should email MSFS at msfsinfo@georgetown.edu at least one week in advance of their visit to inquire about availability. Please bring a resume to the information session with you.

Class Visits

To schedule a class visit, please email msfsinfo@georgetown.edu and let us know what day you plan to visit campus. The MSFS Admissions Office will be happy to arrange for you to meet with an MSFS student and visit one of the classes. We ask that you provide us with at least a one week notice to make arrangements.

*Please note that Class Visits for Spring 2012 are no longer available, as classes have ended for the semester.  Classes are not offered during the summer.  We look forward to offering Class Visits during the Fall 2012 semester, and should have that schedule posted here no later than September 17, 2012.
