The Salaam Intercultural Resource Center
The MSFS program is housed in the Salaam Intercultural Resource Center on the 7th and 8th floors of the Intercultural Center (ICC) of Georgetown University. The Salaam Center, which was established by a grant from the Salaam Foundation and dedicated in 1989 by former president Jimmy Carter, offers a panoramic view of Washington, D.C.

The Salaam Center lounge provides MSFS students with exclusive access to lockers, computers, telephone, fax, and xerox and round-the-clock coffee and televised news programs that fuel informal discussions of international affairs. The Center also includes a large conference room, library, and offices for faculty and staff, who are regularly available to advise and consult with MSFS students.

The Salaam Intercultural Resource Center was made possible by a gift from the family of Hany M. Salaam in memory of his father, Mohammad S. Salaam, educator and philanthropist.
The Salaam sisters - Ghida '86 and Dalia '91 - joined their father in contributing to the Salaam Intercultural Resource Center by donating the beautiful wooden student lockers seen above.
