Application Procedures
The MSFS program strongly suggests applying through the online application. In 2007, 98% of applications filed were completed online.
The application deadline falls on Friday, January 15, 2010. This deadline applies to joint degree applicants as well. Late applications, including those postmarked after January 15, may not be reviewed.
The MSFS Program does not offer Spring admission or part-time enrollment.
All applicants are required to submit the combined Supplemental Data Sheet and Foreign Language Proficiency form. This form must be uploaded to the online application and submitted by January 15.
An application is not considered complete until all supporting documents have been received. It is the responsibility of the applicant to make certain that the admission file is complete in every respect. Neither the Graduate School nor the MSFS program can assume the obligation to inform the applicant about erroneous or missing materials. Applicants may check the status of their application materials through their online application account.
Applications will be reviewed carefully by members of the MSFS Admissions Committee. The Committee will not meet with individual applicants to discuss their application.
Decisions will be mailed no later than April 1. Decisions are not available via telephone, fax, or email.
Please do not include financial aid information in your MSFS application. This information should be mailed separately to the Office of Student Financial Services. For additional information regarding financial aid and expenses, please refer to the Admissions webpage.
