Career Development Center Hosts Strategy Clinic
The Career Development Center hosted a Strategy Clinic on networking and contacts on October 8, 2009. The optional clinic was open to both first and second-year students. The presentation primarily focused on teaching students how to organize a month-by-month strategy for the job application process. Participants learned how to compare their personal calendars with company hiring schedules, and helped students to identify critical months in the hiring process. The clinic also discussed strategies and benefits of career networking, and how to target potential employers.
The clinic was facilitated by Anne Steen, Associate Director of the Career Development Center.
