Career Development Center Hosts Pitch Clinic
The Career Development Center hosted a Pitch Clinic for first-year students on October 15, 2009. The goal of the session was for each participant to perfect the "two-minute pitch." Students evaluated their individual skills and experiences, and learned to condense them into a script that concisely conveys what sets them apart. Participants then practiced their pitches with one another in pairs to perfect the delivery.
The clinic was facilitated by Anne Steen, Associate Director of the Career Development Center.
