MSFS Alum, Andy Weber, Profiled in the Washington Post
Andy Weber (MSFS '86) was profiled in the Washington Post for his work in helping the US remove 1,322 pounds of highly enriched uranium from Kazakhstan in 1994. Weber, who was appointed as Assistant Secretary of Defense (Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Defense Programs), discovered the existence of the uranium while stationed at the US Embassy in Almaty.
