Bailey Hand
The courses, professors, and students at MSFS have been invaluable in launching my career. The variety and flexibility of courses allowed me to concentrate in-depth on conflict management and post-conflict reconstruction, preparing me for my work in Sierra Leone for an NGO as well as Iraq and Afghanistan for the Defense Department. MSFS also ensured that I developed a broad baseline in foreign policy and international economics and honed my ability to think and communicate clearly and concisely, allowing me to be flexible and innovative in my career. The MSFS network, professors and students, has supported me throughout – I can always depend on returning to my professors for advice and frequently find myself working again with fellow MSFS graduates.
