Internship Coordinator: Ashley Koch

MSFS Internship Coordinator, Ashley Koch, contacts corporations, government agencies and non-profit organizations and helps MSFS students find suitable placement in part-time academic and full-time summer internships. She manages an internship database with more than 1,500 listings and posts information on current opportunities on the MSFS Blackboard. She also organizes trips to New York and within Washington to introduce MSFS students to potential employers. On a regular basis she meets one-on-one with students to provide career information, counseling and advice. Ms. Koch has studied in Bolivia, Israel, and Poland. She has previous experience at the United Nations Association and Entrepreneurs' Organization. She holds a B.A. in Middle Eastern Studies at The Ohio State University.

Twelve students and eight professors were selected to attend the first Jesuit University Humanitarian Action Network (JUHAN) Conference to learn about the tools necessary to organize disaster relief efforts.
