Director of Admissions: Eleanor Monte Jones
Director of Admissions, Eleanor Monte Jones, a native of Washington, D.C., earned her B.A. in English from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama and M.A. from Georgetown University, where she wrote her graduate thesis on an investigation of cyber-security issues.
Prior to Georgetown, Ms. Jones interned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. interned for General Electric in Schenectady, NY and worked for her undergraduate alma mater, Spring Hill College.
Ms. Jones has worked in college and university admissions for more than 15 years, joining the Georgetown University admissions office in 1996 and the MSFS Program in 2000. She has served as co-chair and chair of the Admissions Committee of the Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs (APSIA). She has also served on the Selection Committee for the American Councils Muskie Program.
Most recently, Ms. Jones was nominated to participate in the 2007 Higher Education Resource Services (HERS) Summer Institute at Bryn Mawr College to support the growing diversity within higher education and the work force.
